New Lake County Small Business Expo

Learning & Networking with Lakeland Community College and the Lake County Chambers of Commerce

April 6, 2016– The Lake County Chambers of Commerce and Lakeland Community College are collaborating to present a new county-wide small business event. The Small Business EXPO will offer businesses opportunities to learn and network.

The EXPO will be held Friday, June 3 2016 at Lakeland with a trade show area, concurrent workshops, pop-up counseling with SCORE and the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Lakeland, and a late afternoon networking reception.

Any business in Lake County can register for a vendor’s table at the trade-show, though the event’s focus is business-to-business. Tables and sponsorships are moving quickly, however; the deadline to sponsor the event or reserve a table is April 15th. Click here to see registration details.

Attendees can take advantage of attending eight small business learning workshops on topics covering sales, marketing, access to capital and more. Attendees are also sure to make new business contacts and are encouraged to bring plenty of business cards. Registration to attend the event is only $10 for members or $20 for non-members with a business card.

“All three Lake County Chambers of Commerce are pleased to partner with Lakeland and the Small Business Development Center on this event to bring together the two things we do really well,” said Al DiFranco, President and CEO of the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce. “Lakeland and the SBDC will provide great educational programming, and the chambers will facilitate a great networking opportunity for its members and the entire community.”

The Lake County Chambers of Commerce are a consortium of the Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce, the Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce, and the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce.
